Why Pawmancy
Most pet horoscopes give you one lens. We give you four — and then we weave them together. Two Border Collies with the same birthday can produce completely different readings, because the tension between breed and temperament is where the animal lives.
A working dog with a contemplative core. A hunter wearing a peaceful aura. These are the things you already half-knew about your pet. Pawmancy names them.
Inside the engine
Pawmancy combines 'Paw' with 'Mancy' (the art of divination). The name carries the idea of reading what's woven into a paw print — the patterns each animal carries with them.
Your pet's birthday and breed feed four independent lenses — astrology, breed essence, numerology, and color aura. Each is computed first (deterministic, repeatable), then interpreted by Claude (Sonnet, Anthropic's most thoughtful model) into specific paragraphs about your animal.
A second pass reads all four threads together and finds the harmonies (where two or more axes point the same way) and the tensions (where they pull in opposite directions). This is where a portrait emerges — not a horoscope.
The reading produces five emotional coordinates (intensity, warmth, complexity, stillness, inwardness) that draw your pet's own constellation card — a small SVG signature, theirs alone.
