Privacy Policy

Pawmancy (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by CROSS CHECK (Dokyeong Ha, sole proprietor) in South Korea (Business Registration Number: 830-07-03348). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Pet information you provide: Pet name, birthday or arrival date, breed (and secondary breed if applicable), sex (optional). This is used to generate your reading.

Payment information: When you purchase a reading, payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Dodo Payments. We do not see, store, or have access to your full payment details.

Email address: If provided during checkout, used to send your receipt and reading link.

Usage data: Anonymous data about how you use the Service (pages visited, reading completion times) for product improvement.

Cookies: Essential cookies for session management and checkout. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• To generate and deliver your pet’s reading
• To process payments and send receipts

• To improve the Service (aggregate, anonymized data only)
• To comply with legal obligations

Pet information is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the reading. Anthropic processes this data per their privacy policy. Anthropic’s API does not retain data for training purposes. Pet details are sent only at generation time; Anthropic deletes API inputs and outputs under its retention policy (within 30 days).

We use the following third-party services:

• Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record) — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI generation
• Supabase — database and storage
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Resend — sending confirmation and reading emails (email address)

Each service has its own privacy practices. We work with providers that maintain industry-standard security.

Your reading data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security, and access controls.

Reading data is retained indefinitely so you can return to your reading at any time via your shareable URL. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

Your reading is accessible via a unique URL that you can share with others. Anyone with the URL can view your reading. We do not publish or list readings publicly.

Pawmancy operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States (where Anthropic and our hosting providers operate). We rely on standard contractual clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in portable format
• Object to processing in certain cases

Pawmancy is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing your data is: (a) performance of a contract (delivering your reading), (b) legitimate interests (improving the Service), and (c) your consent for any optional data we may collect later.

We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated when possible.
